htag software package provides A tagline/.signature adder for email, news and FidoNet messages, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install htag
htag is installed in your system.
Make ensure the htag package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep htag *
You will get with htag package name, version, architecture and description in a table
